The keyboard and mouse was ok but having a joystick would have been much nicer. If you wand a wide array of weapons explosions and BIG action then play this series. If you do not own a computer then the PS was a second choice. There have been different versions of the game on PS and Saturn, but I believe that this version was the best by far. The sound and music was right on with the games play with techno music and bold sound effects for the various events in the game. DOSbox does a pretty good job of emulating this game and the ability to run DOSbox in scan line mode makes it like you are playing it on a television, if you are into that sort of thing that is. At the time it was a slow run on my machine, but with the emulators and machine speeds of today I believe it will be pretty smooth compared to yesterdays computer. I had a problem with the Isometric view and the movement of your character which was choppy at times but it was easily dismissed with the unbelievable display of explosions and action. The graphics were top notch and the game play was very tight. I believe the only other two games at the time that could be comparable to how addicting it was would be Doom and the X-Wing series. 'As a Silencer, one of the elite enforcers of the World Economic Consortium, youre supposed to be incorruptible. I remember it stealing my life away! The clock would tick away literally! It was that addicting. I remember when I first got this for my 486, quite possibly one of the best games out at the time.
